OZONE THERAPY

In addition to traditional root canal therapy, which relies on proven chemical and mechanical disinfection of the inside of a tooth, we may incorporate ozone therapy as a supportive adjunct. Ozone has documented antimicrobial activity against bacteria, fungi, and viruses, and may help reduce the overall microbial load within the treatment area.

It is important to note that ozone therapy does not replace conventional root canal techniques. Instead, it is used to complement standard care and support the healing environment.

While the science around ozone therapy continues to evolve, some evidence suggests it may help reduce post-operative discomfort in certain situations.

When utilizing ozone therapy we recommend that patients dose 1 g of vitamin C following treatment.
