Dr. Carina Lea

"I love what I do. It may seem different, but since I was young I had always wanted to be an Endodontist so, it’s no accident I’m doing what I enjoy."

It gives me great pleasure to show patients how good the experience can be, especially when they have anxiety. I strive to be the best practitioner each day and I relish the challenge. I believe in continuous improvement of my treatment techniques, with novel methods, better materials, and newer technology. It’s how I know I am giving my patients the best care possible.

My goal is not just to offer my expertise; I want each patient to feel my devotion to them and their care. These procedures can be stressful, and it’s my role to guide them through this process. In fact, for many my role extends beyond completion of treatment: I support my patients through pain management or by coordinating the next steps with the primary dentist. I look forward to meeting you and ensuring your successful treatment!

Dr. Lea enjoys spending time with friends, family, and pets. She spends her time exploring Seattle, as she relocated from New York City where she owned a practice in the downtown TriBeCa neighborhood. She enjoys discovering and supporting new local restaurants and Washington wineries. Ideal days involve routine and successful negotiation with (read: bribery of) her small children. Her interests include reading murder mysteries, learning any life or travel hack, and discovering new perfumes. She is an active member of the University of Pennsylvania Alumni and the James Beard Foundation.

"Endodontics incorporates many of the things that I’m passionate about in life: caring for people, solving problems, and working with my hands."

I know that most people don’t enjoy the idea of a root canal, but I strive to make the experience a pleasant one. It’s very important to me to keep my patients happy and comfortable, and to provide them with the best care possible. My goal is to provide treatment of the highest quality possible.

I love to study the science behind things, so I’ve made a commitment to continue to learn new techniques and ideas throughout my career. By insisting on excellence, I can give my patients a chance to maintain healthy, functioning teeth for a lifetime. I am excited for the opportunity to provide you with a great experience at the dentist!

In his free time, Dr. Studebaker is a fitness enthusiast and enjoys weightlifting, running, and most sports. DR. SARAH NASH

"I find great pleasure in the skill and focus that endodontics requires and believe it’s a true intersection of art and science.”

I chose to become an endodontist because I enjoy the challenge and the constant pursuit to provide the best quality experience with the latest techniques and a strong attention to detail.

I love that my profession focuses on helping patients not only save their teeth but alleviate their pain. I recognize that root canals often come with a negative stigma, and my treatment philosophy is to change that narrative for my patients. I am determined to ensure that my patients’ experience is as successful, comfortable, and pain-free as possible by utilizing the latest technology and a gentle touch. I take pride in restoring hope and relief for patients who believe they have run out of options to save their teeth. I walk my patients through everything they can expect in their treatment so that they can be fully informed and empowered throughout the process. I look forward to providing you the best care possible!

A local Seattle native, Dr. Nash was raised in Redmond, Washington, and enjoys all that PNW lifestyle has to offer. She grew up being extremely active and was a Division 1 athlete for part of her time in college on the University of Washington Crew team. In her free time she enjoys hiking or running with her dog, a Vizsla named Pippa, as well as trying new fitness classes and restaurants. She will never say no to a (gluten free) dessert!
